i just receive cz 457 mtr i would like to get scope mounts for it and rail to put leupold vari-xiii 3,5x10x50 25 mm tks to help me

The mount you are referring to will fit properly. The BH height should be at least 16 mm.

Hi I have a Cz 512 and will be installing a Vortex Diamond Back tactical scope (3-9x40) with a 1” tube. I would like to install the scope as close as possible to the receiver. could you recommend a compatible scope ring? Or do you think I should install a higher sitting ring to use the sights as well as the scope? Thank you Scott

Dear Scott,

Thank you for your inquiry.

The optimal way to make sure you don’t end up choosing a too-low BH height would be to take the outer objective diameter of your scope, deduct the tube diameter of your scope, and then divide the result by 2.

In your case, we think that you could safely opt for a 14 mm bh height.

In regards to lifting the scope up to use both the iron sights and the scope... This is entirely up to the shooter's preference.
