I have a Sako 85M that I'd like to mount an Aimpoint H2 on. I noticed you have 2 brands of mounts that would work; MAK 56054-1000 and Henneberger 11101-000065. I'd like one that attached to the front mount (closest to the muzzle). Do either of these mount at the front? Hello. I have a Sako 85 rifle. I would like to know if the "Makugel docter sight" and "Makugel aimpoint micro" assemblies can be placed before the slide (therefore relatively close to the eye), or only after it. Thank you in advance for your response.

This mount is suitable for Sako 75, 85 rifles with tapered Dovetails, however, they can be mounted on the rear part of the rifle's mounting surface.

Question on MAKugel Aimpoint Micro, Sako Does this mount directly to a Sako 85 tapered dovetail? Also will it fit all Aimpoint Micro red dot sights? Thanks in advance for your help

That is correct. This mount is installed directly on the receiver of Sako 85 conical dovetails. MAKugel mount fits all the Aimpoint Micro red dot sights (H1, H2, T1, T2,...).
